Officials of the Indian Army have said that the Chinese soldier who crossed the India-China border and came towards India has been handed over to China.
The Indian Army issued a statement saying that the Chinese soldier was given medical facilities and oxygen. After this, the Chinese soldier was handed over to China under the 'current protocol'.
On Monday, India had reported that a soldier of the People's Liberation Army had crossed into India from Demchok area of eastern Ladakh. Wang ya Long had come to India, helping a shepherd who was searching for his yak.
On Wednesday, the Chinese military said in a statement that "Corporal Wang ya Long has been handed over to China in the morning."
